WhatsApp Status Gets Major Upgrade with Four New Features

Meta has announced that four new features will soon be introduced to the WhatsApp Status section to enhance user experience and visual appeal. The update, disclosed through Meta’s official blog, includes tools named “Layouts,” “More with Music,” “Photo Stickers,” and “Add Yours.” These features aim to provide users with fresh and interactive ways to express themselves on the popular messaging app.

As part of the new "Layouts" feature, users will be able to create collages directly within the WhatsApp application. They can select up to six photos and arrange them using multiple layout styles provided by the app. Enhanced editing tools will allow users to customize their Status posts, making them more visually engaging.

The "More with Music" feature introduces a new way for users to post music as their Status. By selecting a song, users can now share it directly as a standalone Status update, further enriching their personal expression on the platform.

With the "Photo Stickers" feature, users can convert their photos into stickers. This enables the transformation of regular images into stylized stickers, which can then be posted in the Status section to reflect personal flair and creativity.

Finally, the "Add Yours" interactive tool, already successful on platforms like Facebook and Instagram, will also be available on WhatsApp. This feature encourages engagement by allowing users to initiate Status-based prompts that friends can respond to, creating a more conversational and community-driven experience.

According to Meta, these features are designed to make the WhatsApp Status section more engaging and appealing to its global user base.
