Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE may hit stores alongside Z Flip7, Fold7
Samsung seems all set to bring the Galaxy Z Flip FE alongside the Z Flip7 and Z Fold7 this Summer. Recent inputs hinted at a possible launch delay of the company’s first affordable foldable phone, but the latest credible input flips the script.
Insider MaxJambor revealed that the Galaxy Z Flip FE is in production along with the Z Flip7 and Z Fold7. The source has also shared info about the possible weight of the Z Flip FE, which is said to be 187 grams – the same as Z Flip6.
Samsung may equip the cheaper Flip phone with the Exynos 2400. The main Flip model, the Flip7, is being produced using the 3nm Exynos 2500. The affordability may not bring much compromises in the foldable experience.
Max mentioned that the units being produced are “live demo units.” The company first prepares these models to be showcased at the retail stores. However, the production may have already shifted to consumer units this month.

Galaxy Z Flip FE and Z Flip7 would have the biggest difference in terms of cover display, processor, and battery capacity. Design-wise, both foldables would appear the same as Fan Edition isn’t a mid-range product offering from Samsung.
The upcoming Flip7 is expected to feature a full-view screen like the Moto Razr. Affordable variant, on the other hand, would be a rebadged version of the Galaxy Z Flip5 or Flip6 – in terms of design, weight, and internal components.

Samsung is putting additional efforts to expand the saturation of foldable phones. Chinese rivals are eating Samsung’s share in the foldable market, which could be somehow cemented with the launch of an affordable foldable model.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is seeing massive upgrades this year. The phone’s both cover and inner screens going larger, the main camera could be 200-megapixel, design will go slimmer and weight will be reduced without durability compromise.
